Awake!

Ava was awake yesterday afternoon for 4 hours straight! This time took the place of the 12:00am - 3:00am time frame she was so fond of for a few days. I'm hoping her internal clock is slowly adjusting to day and night but I'm not counting on it just yet.

Here are some pictures of Ava spending time with her daddy while mommy finished dinner and took a shower. That's right, after Jasen got home from work yesterday she awoke again! If you can't tell this is a huge deal. Unless she was nursing or I was changing her or giving her a bath Ava had pretty much been asleep except for very short bursts here and there during the day. It had been virtually impossible to keep her awake - even nursing was a chore. My hope is that the more awake she is during the day the better she'll sleep at night.

Maybe one of these days Jasen will take some pictures of me and Ava...
