Streptococcus

Well so much for a drug free pregnancy. I woke up this morning and could barely swallow. Turns out I have strep throat and need to be on an antibiotic to get rid of it so that fever doesn't harm the baby and so it doesn't turn into rheumatic fever (although rare). Not fun. The doctor assured me the medication is safe during pregnancy but I still wish I didn't have to take it. I feel rotten and just hope Jasen doesn't catch it. I still can't figure out how I even got it but I think we caught it early.
