Happy Father's Day!

I think this was the first time in nine years I was able to be with my dad on Father's Day. To have him there with his granddaughter was really special to me and I think it made it that much harder to say good bye that morning. I just wish I had gotten a picture of dad...

Ava of course enjoyed the pancakes I made that morning for everyone but had an even better time wheeling around the house with daddy in the new video game chair she got for him.

After stopping by to see Dad Lingle we headed back home for Ava's nap and later went for ice cream.

So why is Jasen smiling so big in this picture?

...because Ava is drawing on his arm with ice cream!

You will rarely see Jasen with such a big smile...leave it to Daddy's girl to bring it out in him.
