A Big Day

Ava has had pretty big day. She said "bye-bye" to her teacher out of the blue today when we were leaving daycare. Then she said "Hi" to a complete stranger visiting our neighbor Charlie when we got home. These were not "I think she might've said..." situations. They were clear as day! On top of that, she decided she wanted to actually eat with her spoon instead of play with it! After four or five bites she went back to playing with it :) AND that's not it...she decided to run to get to her toys after dinner (not far but it was still running).

I think she wore herself out with all her "firsts" today because at 7:15 she was cranky and ready for bed - and that's a tad early for her. She's also not feeling good so that was part of it too :(
