We finally got the results back from Ava's vision screening and there's a chance that she is farsighted. Since this was just a "screening" we've been referred to a pediatric opthamologist who can do a diagnostic test with more accurate findings and who is more thorough than an optomotrist. Of all the things they looked for this is definitely one of the better ones - if she is in fact even farsighted. We have an appointment this week (unless we need to cancel do to her current eye condition - see below) so hopefully we'll get instant answers then.
In other news, it looks like either Ava somehow picked up pink eye or she's got viral conjunctivitis OR she has another ear infection and it's showing up in her eyes this time (I had never heard of that) so we're supposed to watch her tonight and if things don't clear up we have to take her back to the pediatrician tomorrow...uughhh.

Eyes, Eyes, Eyes

She has had no other symptoms that would make me think it's an ear infection (in the past cold like symptoms and congestion have lead to her ear infections). I've never had pink eye but her eye is red, swollen and oozing yellowish green grossness.
Plus, she's rubbing it like crazy. I have no way to stop her from rubbing it either. They would've just called in something for pink eye but because she's so young and has a history of ear infections they said they need to see her to be safe. I'd rather they see her anyway.
