Eye Doctor

Ava had her eye doctor appointment this morning and it turns out she is farsighted afterall. The good news is because both eyes are the same it will not interfere with her development and she may outgrow it so we leave it alone unless we notice she is having trouble. They would then recheck her at 3 years of age. If her eyes had been different (one with better vision than the other) then they would've wanted to use a patch or even move straight to glasses.

I feel like I traumatized her with all the drops they had to put in her eyes but we really did need to do the tests because if her eyes were seeing different things it would interfere with her development and how her brain associates things which would impact the rest of her life...She was a trooper though and back to her happy, bouncy (she likes to bounce lately) self moments after it was all over.
