Third time's a charm! Sort of...we've been trying for years but with the help of fertility drugs and 3 separate intrauterine inseminations, it looks like this pregnancy is going to stick! Jasen and I found out we were pregnant September 19 but it wasn't actually confirmed by the doctor until September 22. The first day of Fall has never been so exciting!
Our first ultrasound is tomorrow. Exciting and scary at the same time. See, they've told us that with my HCG levels and the procedure we did we could be having more than one! No one I know remembers having HCG numbers done so all I've got to go on are some online charts that haven't really answered anything.
At 14 days past ovulation my HCG levels were 332. At 18 dpo they were 1327. As long as they double or at the minimum increase by 66% in 48 hours then things look good. The Doctor's office told me that most of the time they see HCG numbers at 14 dpo to be 50-150.
Here's what some of the charts have to say.
