Sick

We're still here...Ava has been sick since last Friday with the worst virus she has ever had. Since its viral there's no antibiotic that will help. She is doing better but still running fever. Last night her fever hit 103.3 so you can imagine how miserable she has been. She has been refusing food since Saturday and started refusing liquids too. We narrowly missed having to admit it to her the hospital. Thank God for silly straws and medicine syringes! After straws were no longer of interest to her we had to give her Pedialyte by syringe just to keep her hydrated. If we had not thought to use those, I have no doubt in mind that she would be in the hospital right now from dehydration. She's slowly taking more liquids on her own again and we're hoping tomorrow is a much better day.
