This morning we met Grandma and Grandpa Lingle, Michelle, Payton and Taylor at the Environmental Center Open House. Ava got to see a plethora of animals including deer, screech owls, a bald eagle, a vulture, ducks, a turkey, snakes, fish, crabs and turtles. She had the best time chasing the ducks (she even walked a few steps all on her own - and up a slight hill at that), touched a horse shoe crab and even hugged some fox fur on display (or something furry anyway).
(Ava hugging something soft and furry)I really don't know if I've ever seen a baby show so much interest in all animals at such a young age. She's been fascinated with animals since the day she met our dog Kaila. For some reason cats are the animal that make her giggle though.
