Decorating the Tree

We decided to go ahead and decorate for Christmas this weekend. We went with an artificial tree, but when Ava's a little older we'll try a real tree. Certain trees induce my migraines anyway so it's probably better this way.









I thought Ava's favorite part was going to be munching on the box to her first ornament but once we got the tree out she was very intrigued. It's got to be weird seeing mommy and daddy bring a green pile of pine needles out of a box, assemble it, a wha-lah all of the sudden we have a tree in our house... She smiled and kicked up a storm when we let her touch it and even protested going to bed for over an hour because of all the excitement.

Somehow our little miracle even managed to bring tears to our eyes...
