4 Months

Ava is four months old today! Every day we see a little bit more of her personality coming out and are loving every minute of it!

This is about where Ava should be as far as development. The ones Ava can do have an asterisk:

Mastered Skills (most kids can do):

• Holds head up steadily*
• Can bear weight on legs*
• Coos when you talk to her*

Emerging Skills (half f kids can do):

• Can grasp a toy*
• Reaches out for objects*
• Can roll over*

Advanced Skills (a few kids can do):

• Imitates speech sounds*
• May cut first tooth (it's there but it's not through yet)
• May be ready for solids (I guess we'll find out Tuesday at her appointment)

Ava is also able to sit up on her own for a few moments and we think she's starting to recognize her name.
